Payments

How paying works on Zorrooo: what you're charged at checkout, the cards we accept, and where to find your receipts.

Paying for an order

  1. Open the gig (or accept an offer from an expert in your messages) and start the order.
  2. The checkout shows the total: the gig price plus VAT where it applies.
  3. Enter your card details and confirm.
  4. Your bank may ask you to confirm with 3-D Secure (a code or app prompt). Once approved, the payment is complete.
  5. You're taken to your order, and the expert is notified to start.

:::note Cards only, in euros Payments are made by card and charged in euros (EUR). We don't currently support Apple Pay or Google Pay. :::

What you're charged

  • The gig price shown on the gig.
  • VAT, when the expert's setup requires it — it's always shown in the total before you confirm.
  • If you have a referral discount or referral credits, they're applied at checkout and lower the total. A discount is either a referral discount or a promo code — not both on the same order.

:::note Free orders If credits or a discount bring your total to €0, there's no card charge — the order is confirmed right away. :::

Subscriptions (experts)

If you're subscribing as an expert:

  1. Choose your plan and confirm your card.
  2. You're charged for the first period immediately; the plan then renews automatically.
  3. Your first invoice is available straight away, and renewals are billed on the same cycle.

Receipts and invoices

  • After a successful order payment, you receive a confirmation email with your invoice (PDF) attached.
  • Subscription invoices are issued by our payment provider for each billing period.
  • A copy of your invoice is also kept with your order.

If a payment fails

  • A card can be declined for many reasons (insufficient funds, bank security check, expired card).
  • Nothing is charged when a payment fails — just try again or use a different card.
  • If you started but didn't finish paying, you can return to the order and pay again, or cancel it.

Good to know

  • You're only charged once per order; the expert is paid later, after the work is delivered.
  • Refunds are handled by our team — reach out through your order if something goes wrong.
  • Your card details are processed securely by our payment provider and are never stored by Zorrooo.
