Credits & Wallet
Credits are a prepaid balance for experts. You spend them to unlock exclusive invites and to post paid public replies — no need to enter your card every time. This is an expert feature, so you'll see it once you have an expert profile.
:::note Not the same as referral credits The credits on this page are bought or come with your plan. The credits you earn by inviting people are separate and can be withdrawn — see Referral Program. :::
The two kinds of credits
- Free credits — included with your subscription plan and refilled every month. Unused free credits expire at the monthly reset.
- Purchased credits — credits you buy. They never expire.
When you spend, your free credits are always used first, then your purchased ones.
Free credits reset (and any leftover free credits disappear) once a month. Purchased credits stay until you use them.
Buying credits
- Open your credits balance and choose Add credits.
- Pick an amount. The minimum top-up is €100.
- Larger top-ups earn a bonus — the more you add at once, the more bonus credits you get (up to 20% extra).
- Pay by card. VAT (20%) is added at checkout; the credits added to your balance are the pre-VAT amount plus any bonus.
Your balance updates as soon as the payment succeeds.
Auto-recharge
To avoid running out mid-task, turn on auto-recharge:
- Set a threshold — when your balance drops to or below it,
- a top-up of your chosen amount is charged automatically to your saved card.
There's a short cooldown between automatic top-ups so you're never charged twice in a row. If no card is saved, auto-recharge quietly skips and you'll need to top up manually.
Spending credits
Credits are spent on:
- Exclusive invites — unlocking a direct contract offer. Your credits cover the fee first; only what's left over is charged to your card.
- Public replies — replying on higher-value complaints costs a small per-reply fee (€1–€3 depending on the complaint size). Smaller complaints are free to reply to, and once you've paid for a reply on a complaint you won't be charged again for it.
If your balance can't cover a spend, you'll be prompted to add credits.
Your balance & history
Your credits view shows:
- Free credits available this month.
- Purchased credits available.
- A history of grants, purchases, spends, and refunds.
Good to know
- Spending always uses free credits first, then purchased ones.
- Free credits expire at the monthly reset; purchased credits don't.
- Credits are spend-only — they can't be withdrawn as cash. (Referral rewards can — that's a different balance.)
- If an exclusive payment fails after credits were reserved, those credits are refunded to your balance.
