Legal Limits & Zorrooo's Status

Zorrooo is a content hosting platform within the meaning of the French law for confidence in the digital economy (LCEN) and the European DSA regulation. As a neutral host, Zorrooo is not a party to contracts concluded between users and experts.

Content host

Zorrooo hosts and connects: it does not produce the content of disputes, does not choose experts, and does not intervene in conclusions or opinions rendered. This neutral host status implies:

  • Zorrooo is not responsible for the content of disputes published by users, within the limits provided by law.
  • Manifestly unlawful disputes (defamation, false information) can be reported and are removed as soon as possible after notification.
  • Zorrooo guarantees no result: the platform connects parties, but the outcome of a dispute depends on the expert and the parties.

Neutral service between parties

Zorrooo acts as a neutral technical intermediary between the claimant and the expert. Concretely:

  • Funds are held in escrow by Stripe (independent trusted third party) for the duration of the contract. Zorrooo does not have access to the funds.
  • Service invoices are issued by the expert to the client: Zorrooo does not intervene in this commercial relationship and does not appear on the service invoice.
  • In the event of a dispute between the parties, Zorrooo may act as a moderator, but does not adjudicate disagreements.

Regulated professions

Some experts registered on Zorrooo practice regulated professions (lawyers, notaries, judicial officers, mediators, agents). Their professional obligations apply independently of the platform:

  • Lawyers remain subject to professional secrecy and bar rules.
  • Their own general terms may complement those of Zorrooo: in case of conflict, Zorrooo's terms prevail.
  • Verification of actual practice of the profession is carried out by our team before activating the expert account for these professions.

Personal data

Zorrooo processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR. Published disputes are anonymized in the Barometer and aggregated exports. Consult our Privacy Policy for details.

Report content

To report unlawful content or a violation of the terms of use, use the reporting form available on each dispute page or contact our team.
