Invites & Exclusive

As an expert, you can get private access to a case you want to work on. You pay a one-off access fee, and a private channel opens between you and the claimant who posted the case so you can send them a quote or a mission.

Getting an exclusive invite

There are two ways you'll reach an exclusive invite:

1. By email: when a new case matches your profile, we send you an invite with a link to view it.
2. From a case: when you open a case and choose to contact the claimant in private, you go straight to the access screen.

What you see on the access screen:

• A preview of the case (brand, issue, and the disputed amount).
• The access price for that case.
• A payment button.

Accepting and paying

1. Review the case preview to make sure it's one you want.
2. (Instant buy) Write a short first message to the claimant: it's sent automatically once your access is confirmed.
3. Choose how to pay:
   • Saved card: pay in one click with the card already on file.
   • New card: enter your card details securely through Stripe.
4. Confirm the payment. The price is shown including VAT.

If you have credits on your account, they're used first and only the remaining amount is charged to your card. If your credits cover the whole fee, there's nothing to pay by card.

After you pay

Once payment succeeds:

• Your exclusive access is activated.
• A private conversation opens with the claimant: click start the conversation to go straight to it.
• You and the claimant both receive a confirmation email with the payment summary.

From there you can message the claimant privately and send them a quote or a mission.

Declining an invite

If an emailed invite isn't for you, just decline it. Declining cancels your invite, and you won't be charged. The case stays open: other experts can still preempt it. You can also simply ignore it.

Good to know

• Several experts can preempt the same case in parallel. Each expert who has paid for access gets their own private channel with the claimant. It's the claimant who freely chooses the expert they want to engage.
• You can't buy access to your own case.
• The access price depends on the disputed amount of the case.
• If a card payment fails, any credits that were set aside are returned to your balance.
